About Me

I hail from a background where sporting excellence and academic achievement were always encouraged. My mother was an Olympic swimmer herself and I always idolised her. Growing up in New Zealand, a nation known for its strong sporting culture, I was drawn to competing in many sports in my youth, naturally though, like mum, water became my second home.

My roots are deeply embedded in the Hibiscus Coast, a community that has played a pivotal role in both my personal growth and swimming career. This background, encompassing my educational journey and long-standing commitment to swimming, has been integral to shaping who I am today. It reflects my dedication to both academic pursuits and athletic excellence, underpinned by a deep connection to my community.

Achievements

At the most recent World Championships in Doha, Qatar in February of 2024, I had the best competition of my career to date. I posted numerous personal bests, ranking higher than I have ever before. Placing 4th in the 800m Freestyle and 1500m freestyle, as well as 7th in the 400m freestyle and 5th in the Woman’s 4x200m Freestyle relay.

This competition qualified me for a huge program at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. In Paris, I finished 17th in the 400m freestyle, 12th in the 800m freestyle, and 12th in the 1500 freestyle. A highlight of the competition was the Women’s 4x200m freestyle relay where we became the first female relay team from New Zealand to progress to the final at an Olympic level.

THE POWER OF

SOCIAL MEDIA

The use of social media and the role it now plays in athletes lives are monumental. The opportunities to work with brands, create and share content on their behalves enable athletes to create an income as well as create a brand representing themselves. I have started using my social medias to show the ins and outs of athletes, from a day to day basis as well as at competitions.
